How are your keycaps made?
I make the base with printed resin, then sand, prime and paint with a mix of lacquer and acrylic paints. Sometimes I use an airbrush, but in most of the cases it's all painted by hand with a brush.
Do you do the designs too?
I mainly focus on painting, so most of the time I'm either collaborating, commissioning or licensing from 3D artists specialized in keycap designs.
Are your keycaps safe?
Resin printing and some steps of the painting process are dangerous and I take it very seriously. All the keycaps I sell are fully cured and chemically inactive.
How durable are the keycaps?
At the end of the painting process all the keycaps receive a lacquer coating that seals the surface. It's very durable and normal handling/typing won't damage it. That said, they are susceptible to scratches and rough handling, so I advice only using them as keycaps or anti-stress on the included switch and base.
The lacquer coating is also vulnerable to alcool and mineral spirits. The chance of them being around keycaps is not very high, but some cleaning products might contain a percentage of it. Please check the labels of any product you'll use on my keycaps (normal warm water is usually more than enough).
How much does shipping cost?
Domestic shipping in Italy costs 7,49€. Shipping is FREE for orders over 50€.
Where do you ship from?
I'm based in Florence, Italy and all orders are shipped from here!
Do you ship internationally?
Not yet, but I'd like to start offering EU and Worldwide shipping soon! Sign up for the newsletter to know before anyone else.
How long does shipping take?
I usually combine and process all orders once per week (typically Monday), so they can be picked up all together by the courier service.
All orders are shipped with a tracking number, so you will be able to follow the shipment. Please keep in mind that delays may occur, but estimate about 1-2 weeks after receiving the shipping notification email.
I entered the wrong address! Can you change it?
If you have not received an email regarding shipment of the order yet, please contact me as soon as possible with your order number and the correct address. If you have already received a shipping notification email, I have already shipped your order out and there is nothing I can do 🥲
I need to change/cancel an order.
Please contact me within 24 hours of the purchase to make a change/cancel to your order.
I haven't received my item yet.
If your item has not arrived within 14 business days from the day your order was shipped and you received the notification, please contact me.
What is this store's return/exchange policy?
I don't offer a refund policy currently, but I'd be glad to help if there is any problem with the order. Just contact me with your name, order number and any photos of the defective product.
I placed a pre-order, how does it work?
If you placed a pre-order, the delivery time will be approximately indicated in the product page.
If you placed an order of an in-stock item together with a pre-order item, they will be shipped together once the pre-ordered product is ready.
I have an idea for a custom keycap, would you be able to make it?
I'm not accepting commission requests at the moment as I have a lot of new designs planned already, but feel free to share your idea, if I receive a lot of requests for a specific theme I'll try to make it first.
